Calendar Sync - ability to remove records from own diary

When I have synced my Kato calendar to my own (Outlook for example), if my viewing is cancelled, it is removed from Kato diary but not my Outlook. It only shows as ‘cancelled’ in Outlook. I would like the ability to remove it from my external calendar but they are ‘view only’ records.
