Allow one email address to be linked to multiple companies within the CRM

I would like to be able to relate a contact to multiple companies within my CRM We are sometimes dealing with a Contractor or maybe an Executive who has multiple positions. To summarise - currently Kato has a one-to-one relationship with Contacts and Companies and we would like one-to-many.
